Navigate to a YouTube video or pick one from this website. To see if a video has subtitles, play the video and click the icon that resembles a box with "CC" in the bottom right corner for the video playback. If the video has subtitles, you will see them on screen. If it does not, you can select annotations in the same settings cog. This will automatically generate subtitles. They may not always be 100% accurate but will help you to understand the video a little better.

Increasing Text Size
This site allows you to zoom in and out of the page, to make the content appear bigger on the screen. Most browsers will allow you to zoom into a page using a key combination of an 'action' and the '+' or '-' key (either next to backspace or on the numberpad). The 'action' button depends on the operating system.
