Access to Work is a fund provided by the Department for Work and Pensions for help at work and the support offered is based on a your individual needs. The money doesn’t have to be paid back and won’t affect other benefits. For example:

  • special equipment, adaptations or support worker services to help do things like answer the phone or go to meetings
  • help getting to and from work

For more information on Access to Work, follow these weblinks:

You also have a right to “reasonable adjustments”. Employers (the person you are working for) must make reasonable adjustments (changing the way they normally do things) so that people with a disability can work there like anybody else.
